October 2012 CECIP Activity Report for CIML 2012 Veronika Martens, President CECIP LMG Page 5 CECIP LMG (Legal Metrology Group): Manufacturers have to follow many additional documents and requirements (such are not covered by CECP activities): regional document in LM outside Europe and OIML Documents with orequirements for safety, EMC, ROHS (hazardous substances), pharmaceutical industry, medical devices etc. laid down in national laws and European directives, standards and international IEC documents....... orequirements for quality management systems in legal metrology, for calibration services, testing laboratories and ISO 9001 in general required for manufacturing or service activities.
