1 10/28/2015 1 Welcome to SUNYIT Civil Engineering Technology Program Welcome to SUNYIT Civil Engineering Technology Program

2 10/28/2015 2 SUNYIT Civil Engineering Technology Program Leads to a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology Accredited by TAC-ABET Approximately 70 students

3 10/28/2015 3 Mission Statement Provide quality undergraduate studies in civil engineering technology. Encourage academic and intellectual achievement of the highest quality and the technical competencies inherent to the field of civil engineering technology. Committed to the integration of these elements in a coherent program of higher learning.

4 10/28/2015 4 Objectives Graduating students are equipped with: Applied engineering skills necessary to obtain gainful employment in their chosen professional field after graduation and the ability to progress to higher levels of responsibility in their chosen area. Practical problem-solving and hands-on skills rooted in the fundamental areas of CET. The desire to become life-long learners, and to grow and continue their professional development through graduate studies, workshops, membership in professional societies and professional registration.
