9. Avignon is an old city that has an old castle in which the schism popes stayed: Palais des Papes.

10. Cannes is internationally famous for its annual film festival.

11. La Camargue has horse and cattle ranches. A favorite haunt of cowboys in France. Also, a few rodeos and bullfights.
