3 S TATUS OF I MPLEMENTATION C ERES Congratulations to Rutland District Office! Selected as the Ceres/EBT pilot district – pilot May-Sept 2015 Work continues by state staff Vermontizing Ceres: a/k/a “configuration” Team working on interview starters and prompts for Ceres Beginning to analyze how Ceres and EBT will affect clinic flow, assignment of duties in DOs and at clinic Orientation of state staff in all Ceres clinic and state admin functions by Ciber is complete 7/24/20143

4 S TATUS OF I MPLEMENTATION EBT We have a contract with Xerox for WIC EBT DFS also contracted with Xerox for 3Squares, so our fruit and veggie card OK through EBT rollout Work has begun validating that Ceres is set up correctly to “interface” with Xerox online EBT Next task is working with grocers to interface with Xerox 7/24/20144 XEROX CERES GROCERS

5 “Branding” the WIC EBT Card Branding includes both naming and design Promoting A.D.K.A.R. Awareness – Desire – Knowledge – Ability – Reinforcement Consensus Keep it Simple Use a name the families will use. Add a tagline to indicate “choice” “healthy choices” “healthy foods” “good foods” “family meals” “eat smart” C HANGE M ANAGEMENT : P REPARING WIC F AMILIES 7/24/20145

8 DOs agreed unanimously on Alpha sort of organization types Each DO will have its own list of local and state organizations, keyed to those “types” Your personal Ceres profile brings up your Local Agency data: (outreach organizations, also participants, BFPCs etc). Can be used for Outreach reporting AND referrals O UTREACH O RGANIZATIONS T YPES AND Y OUR L OCAL L IST 7/24/20148

9 It’s time to start compiling updated information for your DO’s specific outreach organization lists: Organization name, address, phone number Contact name Organization “use” by WIC: Outreach only WIC refers to Outreach AND WIC refers to Watch for an Excel workbook by email to collect this information Will need this info back by mid-November to load into Ceres.
