5  There are 24 different time zones in the world, one for each hour of the day!

6  There are four time zones in the continental United States – Pacific, Mountain, Central, and Eastern.

8  As you travel east into a new time zone, the time increases by one hour.  If you travel west, the time decreases by one hour.  + 1  - 1
