Served here with: Epoisses cheese, fried calamari, malted milk balls Two Brothers, Warrenville IL “Ebel’s Weiss” 4.9% A/V Weiss, also known as hefeweizen, is a German-style wheat beer. Has a nice malty sweetness and a soft aroma of clove, vanilla, and banana. Pair with: poultry, Latin American cuisine, earthy cheeses, banana or citrus desserts, green salads. 2. Kölsch Mixed Ale Dan’s Home Brew! What should we name it? Kolsch is a German beer with a prominent, but not extreme, hoppiness. It is less bitter than the standard German lager beer, Pils. Pair with: German cuisine, earthy cheeses, mushrooms, smoked or grilled meat, salads and shellfish.
