3 Present simple They don’t work full time. * We use the present simple to talk about things that happen repeatedly(every day,usually,often, sometimes)I * We use the present simple to talk about facts that are generally true * We use the presenr simple to say how often we do things DO you sometimes play tennis? 4 Present continuous *We use the present continuous to talk about something that is happening at the moment we speak. She is walking to school now. *We use the present continuous to talk about arranged future. We aren’t walking to school tomorrow. *Final «e»(give>giving) *Monosyllables ending in a consonant preceded by a vowel double the consonant (sit>sitting) *Verbs ending in y (play>playing)

7 Past continuous Form:was/were + verb +-ing The past continuous is used to express activities in progress before, and probably after, a particular time in the past. Es.At seven o’clock this morning I was having my breakfast. The past continuous is used for to express an incomplete activity Es.I was reading a book during the flight The past continuous is used for descriptions. Es.She was wearing a green cotton dress.

8 Present perfect Form: We use the present perfect to talk about something that started in the past and continues up to the present. Intentional future *We use the present continuous for something that we have already arranged to do in the future. *we use will when we decide to do something at the moment we speak. *We use will when we provide information about the future. *We use will when we make predictions. *We use will when we offer to do something. *We use will when we ask somebody to do something. *We use will when we promise to do something.
