D1: Explain the following phrase “We’ll weather the weather.” How are the two words different even though they are spelled the same? D2: What do you see as the theme of the poem? Can you support your answer with a poem example? F1: What is the difference between the words whether and weather? Define both of them and provide an example of each. 9 Choose one of the ideas to complete. Be creative.
1. Use the words weather, weather, whether (or another word set of your choice) to write a tongue twister that makes sense for your friends. Be creative and use one of the optional project strategies to portray your work. (D3) 2. If you completed rung F2 then select one of the word pairs to compose a poem using the words in as many ways possible. If you did not complete F2 then choose your one word pairs, like see/sea to compose the poem. Illustrate it. Be creative.
