7 7 Future Projects – e-Health – SAOR project Funded by Enterprise Ireland Start: November 2005, duration: 3 years Joint project with University College Hospital Galway –Oncology and Radiology Unit –High interoperability problems Integration of EPR system and diverse databases and devices –WSMX – underlying technology –WSMX as a intermediary between EPR and other systems –Interoperability of data and processes Benefits: Solving interoperability in health care systems in Ireland also in the context of EU RIDE Project Funding: € 340K

8 8 Future Projects – e-Health – RIDE project Funded by EU Framework Program 6 Start: 1 st quarter 2006, duration: 2 years (CA) Semantic Interoperability of e-Health Systems –Roadmap to achieve interoperability in e-health –SWS (WSMO, WSML, WSMX) as underlying concepts –Analysis of the best practices in providing interoperability Taking up SAOR results –SAOR results will be promoted in the context of the RIDE project (roadmap, workshops, conferences) Funding: € 138K

9 9 Future Projects – SemanticGov Funded by EU Framework Program 6 Start: January 2006, duration: 3 years (STREP) WSMX – underlying technology for infrastructure for national and European interoperability frameworks –Interoperability between PA within a country and among countries –Discovery and selection of PA services by citizens –Composition and execution of complex services with multiple PA Benefits: SemanticGov input to REACH in Ireland –SemanticGov and REACH aligned with IDABC initiative of EC –Planned collaboration with REACH project –REACH – national interoperability framework for e-gov services –SemanticGov – European interoperability framework enabling integration within the national framework Funding: € 350K

10 10 Future Projects – SWING Funded by EU Framework Program 6 Start: March 2006, duration: 3 years (STREP) WSMX – underlying technology for semantic web services interoperability for geospatial decision making –SWS framework of suitable ontologies and inference tools for annotation, discovery, composition, and invocation of geospatial web services. –Reduce the complexity of creating semantic descriptions –Increase number of semantically described geo spatial services Funding: € 314K

11 11 Future Projects – SUPER Funded by EU Framework Program 6 Start: April 2006, duration: 3 years (IP) Semantic Utilised Process Management within and between Enterprises –Build on results of SEKT, DIP and Knowledge Web –Business processes executed within multiple heterogeneous systems –Business processes are not accessible to machine reasoning –Semantic Web Services as underlying technology to annotate and integrate heterogeneous BPM systems. Funding: 1.1 Million

12 12 Future Projects – TripCom Funded by EU Framework Program 6 Start: 1 st April 2006, duration: 3 years (STREP) Development of Triple Space A highly scalable, semantically enhanced communication architecture TripCom will provide inputs to WSMX for triple space usage Funding: € 592K
