310/27/2015 PPC Study Items Study Item objective is to identify need for any new PAR(s) for new technical areas. Active Study Items: –Hierarchical Networks Study Report (802.16ppc-10/0008r1) –TDD Co-existence Study Report (802.16ppc-10/0007)

410/27/2015 Project Planning Discussion Project Planning: –Reviewed Sept session closing report (802.16ppc- 10_0014.ppt ). Discussed updates for the Project planning map. –Reviewed contribution C80216ppc-10_0068.ppt – Suggestion plans for the next revision project Recommendation to Working Group: WG should consider creating a Revision PAR to consolidate IEEE Std 802.16-2009, and amendments 802.16j- 2009, 802.16h-2010 and the soon to be completed P802.16m by Jan 2011, with a plan to initiate work by mid 2011.

510/27/2015 Hierarchical Networks Study Report Update (1/2) Input Contributions Discussed: –S80216ppc-10_0066.ppt - Coordinated AP for tightly coupled BS-AP interworking for Multi-RAT devices –C80216ppc-10_0066r1.doc - Coordinated AP for tightly coupled BS-AP interworking for Multi-RAT devices –C80216ppc-10_0067.doc - Text proposal on Study Report on Hierarchical Networks (Working document) Outcome: –We updated the working document for the Hierarchical Networks Study Report (802.16ppc-10/008r2).

610/27/2015 Hierarchical Networks Study Report Update (2/2) Motion: To issue a call for contributions for continuing development of the Hierarchical Networks Study Report –Mover: Nageen Himayat –Second: Jin Sam Kwak Passes with unanimous consent.

710/27/2015 TDD Co-existence Study Report Update No input contributions received for the last 2 meetings Also no interest to pursue the document further. So we decided not to issue a call for new contributions

810/27/2015 New Study Topics (1/2) Discussed contribution C802.16ppc-10/69r2 suggesting Enhancements for WirelessMAN-OFDMA. –Suggestion was to consider enhancements with limited scope to one year –Forward compatible enhancement to 802.16m –Possible High Priority Features suggested were: Multi-carrier 20MHz review and supplement Power saving enhancement ICIC enhancement After quite a bit of discussion, no specific actionable conclusion was reached.

910/27/2015 New Study Topics (2/2) Discussed the need for developing content for the ITU-R Workshop in March 2011 to motivate the agenda for new spectrum identification in WRC 2011. This expects new services to be identified that would require new spectrum. Motion to start new Study Item on “Vision for Services and Capabilities of Systems Beyond IMT-Advanced” –Moved: Shilpa Talwar –Second: Upkar Dhaliwal –Passes with Unanimous Recommendation: To issue a call for contributions for this study item after session #70.
