3 M.S. 219 Quality Review Recommendations (2007-2008) 1. Further develop all teachers’ skills, knowledge, and understanding of the collection and utilization of data to improve instruction. 2. Continue to develop the curriculum to promote experimental inquiry and opportunities for independent research for students. 3. Ensure that whole-school goals contain measurable interim criteria for success so that monitoring and review are more effective. 4. Ensure that all teachers provide instruction that carefully matches the different learning needs of students in each class. 5. Extend professional development opportunities for teachers to share good practice. 6. Develop communication links with parents to enable feedback from them about their children’s interests and ways of learning.
