2. Create your own fairy tale Today and Thursday you will work independently to create your own fairy tale. You will present your fairytale in class on Friday. It must have elements of a fairy tale, including: ▫Symbols ▫Imagery ▫An element of magic ▫Hero/heroine ▫Someone in distress ▫Villain ▫Supporting characters ▫An evident moral

3. You must: Write at least 1 ½ pages (if you choose to make a comic, it must contain at least 12 squares with text and illustration) ▫The most important thing is that your story is “long enough” to include all the requirements!! Have a promotional poster/illustration to go along with your fairy tale when it is presented on Friday.

4. Do not: Use the structure of a fairy tale or movie or book etc. that is already written!
