MESOTHELIOMA NURSE COORDINATOR: Calls patient to perform needs assessment; reviews details of clinic visit Schedules all visits with multidisciplinary team for same day Contacts appropriate support services team members to see patient Checks insurance to address issues Accumulates all necessary medical records Sends new patient packet Navigates patient through the day of the visit Obtains consent, completed questionnaire for tissue bank (NMVB).
