Proposing a Bootstrapping Effort Starting in US-EU A Cloud based approach Any and all cloud presence can be a SDX – Starting with CloudLab and GTS – Interfacing GENI stitched networks + AL2S + NSI – Allocating virtual or physical servers Prototype focus on compute/network/storage – go easy with the glue and automation – i.e., if aggregate manager or NSI agent not ready yet, manual out-of-band configuration is acceptable Deal with, not isolate from – organizational/administrative issues – External network interfacing issues Run interesting application prototypes on it – GENI Cinema, IOT grid, Smart City?
