Compound Inequalities can be in 2 forms I.) 25 < x < 50 Read: x is greater than 25 and less than 50 II.) x > 10 or x < 5 Read: x is greater than 10 or less than 5

Conjunctions: are compound inequalities joined by the word “and”. Points found in both A and B are the solution set. AB Overlap

Disjuntions: are compound inequalities joined by the word “or”. The solution is all Points in either A or B both AB Union
