14 Case Study 1: Alcohol Restrictions at Open Air Event 14 Challenge: Lack of enforcement of existing open air ordinance Action: Collaboration with law enforcement to research existing ordinances/compile evidence on risks of alcohol sales; testimony to city council Outcome: City council resolution supporting existing ordinances Case Study 1

15 What can we take away? Communicate with law enforcement that, based on research, the community wants ordinances enforced Look into existing ordinances Explore the idea of legislators passing a resolution 15 Case Study 1

16 Case Study 2: Binge and Underage Drinking at University Games Challenge: No drinking ordinance in place Action: Use of assessments to make the case for policy change Outcome: Policy implementation by university 16 Case Study 2
