2. CHAPTERS 1-3
One night a girl named julilly was humming to her self while sitting by the door way. The beat of the song just kept going on in her head. She lived with her mamma sally and old massa Henson he did not enjoy julillys singing. One day a slave trader took julilly away and as they left they heard church bells massa Henson got really sick and died.

3. CHAPTERS 4-6
One day was hot and it would be followed by the next. The children figured that the wagon will be their home for a while.Julilly would warm the children the best she could every night. Now and then julilly would sing a song that she herd mamma sally sing. One day the land became flat and the fat man called it Mississippi. That’s when julilly met Liza.

4. CHAPTERS 7-9
Starting to pick cotton was hard for julilly the days were long hot and tiring. Master Riley was the owner of the plantation and Sims was just the helper or just the fat man. One morning it sprinkled rain but it did not last very long. One day julilly met Mr. Ross who cared very much for slaves.Julilly was always looking forward to fun time like she use to but master Riley did not allow it.

5. 10-12
One day the girls decided that was enough of the riley plantation. They met up with Massa Ross who really wanted to help the slaves escape to Canada. He told Lester to cut their hair and dress them up into boy clothes and fool the slave catchers and their bloodhounds who were chasing them as they spoke. They ran as fast as they could to get away from the bloodhounds they even jumped in water to lose their sent.

6. Chapters 13-15
Finally the girls and the boys were free from the riley plantation. They set off their journey to Canada. They started by heading toward the mountains. When they did they slept in a big cave they decided to travel by day so the they could see were they were going. On their way Lester and Adam were caught and taken away. Soon they stopped at jeb browns house a person who took car of run away slaves. They staid there and learned about Lester and Adam escaping from the slave catchers.

7. CHAPTERS 16-19
The girls were left alone to find a fellow named Levi Coffen the president of the Under ground railway. When they found him he helped them until they got to little house and then they went on a boat then when they got to Canada and when they got there Liza kissed the ground and saw Lester. Then he showed jullily a big surprise they went to a house and mama sally was their julilly thought she was an old lady.
Julilly was so happy to be with her mother again. And they lived happily ever after
