4 About Me… I am married to Trish (a counselor in Coppell ISD). We have been married for some years now. We have two boys, Dylan (10) and Peyton (4). M. Ed. from WBU B.S. KNES from MSU I am the only person in my family with a 4 year degree and a Masters, that means you can go to college too. Go Texas, Dallas and UT.

6 What is International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (IB- MYP) ? The MYP is: for students aged 11 to 16 a framework of academic challenge 8 subject groups, plus personal project in the final year. At CMS kids choose French or Spanish taught in any language Includes a community service requirement

8 Classroom Supplies Needed This Year: For Mr. Spain’s Science Class you will need the following supplies………. COMPOSITION JOURNAL MAGIC MARKERS (small pkg.) PEN and/or PENCIL CONSTRUCTION PAPER (any colors) Through the year we will need other things for projects, for example poster boards etc.., And I will make announcements for those when the time comes.

9 My grading and homework policy Labs 30% of the Six Weeks Grade Tests 40% of the Six Weeks Grade Homework 30% of the Six Weeks Grade Most work will be completed in class by design, that classwork, can and will become homework if the student fails to apply him/herself as expected. True Homework: Once a week at the most. Late Work: All work should be turned in ON TIME!!! However, life happens so students can always make arrangements with me to get it in. JUST ASK.
