24 Phase I – November 2008 - Introduced Web based system with Position concept for A&P and Classified Phase II – November 3 rd, 2009 - Brings Faculty, Students and Affiliated Workers into HRMS. - DEFINE from an HR perspective goes away. Phase II.5 – March 2010 - Brings the Budget process into HRMS - Mass Update Capability

25 Positions are required for everyone - Faculty, Staff, Students and Affiliated Workers. Appointment document creation and management will no longer be done by departments across campus. Appointments will be fully generated out of HRMS when any employment action is taken. Appointments are replaced by Assignments. Category of Affiliated Workers - volunteers, contractors, visiting researches, etc. is introduced. Concept of Pooled positions is introduced for Student and Affiliated Workers.

26 Position now contains funding data. Multiple appointments to accommodate separate funding will no longer be necessary. Partial day leave without pay (LWOP) processing is available.
