Our role as teachers is that of facilitators to create environments of challenge and laughter while immersing students in the celebration of literature and learning by responding and guiding students as necessary.

Biliteracy will be developed by teaching reading, writing, listening, and speaking through both languages with attention to the similarities and differences in English and Spanish. Lessons will mirror each other with differences where appropriate (e.g., different TEKS, vocabulary, explanations, experiences, culture). It is the intent of CSCOPE to provide all students the same rigor, relevance, and opportunities for success.
