Purpose Grouping of seven boroughs established 10 years ago to prioritise affordable housing projects, but now remit wider Working collectively on: –housing strategy –housing programmes and sub-regional pool of units –Specific sub-regional projects: extensions / overcrowding initiatives / private sector programmes / homelessness prevention /response to rough sleeping –promoting good practice and standards –promoting SW London housing issues and making the case for investment –representing the sub-region and protecting it’s interests –delivering efficiencies through joint work (e.g surveys)
