10 TPT-WG29, Chinese Taipei 29 th APEC Transportation Working Group Meeting, Chinese Taipei, 9-13 July 2007  Since APEC 23 rd meeting(2004), keep reporting progress on Harmonization  By the schedule,undergoing official WTO Notice for comments and then announcing the regulations (40 ECE Regulations in 2004, 5 ECE Regulations in 2007)  Leftovers are still being discussed  Safety Regulation evolved into “Developed” era  “First Crash Test in Chinese Taipei” was conducted at ARTC on 2005/01  Closer to International tempo  Twice per year, keeping track of ECE revisions  Coping with demands from industry and safety, newly-set ECE Regulations being planned (e.g. ECE R123, Adaptive front-lighting system(AFS) ) (1/7) Outcomes of harmonization with ECE Regulations of Safety (1/7)
