THE SOURCE lat. Ordo initiationis christianae adultorum, OICA Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults This document is the official teaching on the process of catechesis and initiation of adults into the Catholic Church written by the Congregation of Divine Worship in 1972.
Fr. Francis Blachnicki desired to create a formation program based on this document (RCIA), and very quickly was able to transform it into a fully functional, understandable way of life for lay people. One year after the release of the document, he led the first Domestic Church retreat. ACTION
THE WAY STAGES EVANGELIZATION DEUTEROCATECHUMENATE DIAKONIA FOCUS Preparation for the decision to accept Jesus Christ as Savior, or to renew this decision. The stages of DC formation: these will open us to a maturation of faith and deepening of our vocation. Mature Christianity is fully expressed through an attitude of service to the Church.
