Introduction This is the first paragraph of your essay. This paragraph presents your topic and creates the purpose your paper. “This is what I’m going to talk about” Generally, the introduction begins with a broad statement and narrows down to your thesis. It includes a thesis.

Thesis statement Thesis statement is the last sentence of your introduction. It includes your subject and opinion. Uniforms are great idea because XXXXX, XXXXX and XXXXX.

Body Paragraphs The three opinion statements you made in the thesis is how you break down your paragraphs. In each paragraph you discuss and support your opinions. You can support with research, personal experience, interviews, and data.

Conclusion This paragraph is the last paragraph of your essay. It is your strongest paragraph. A wrap up of your thoughts. throughout your essay you are defending your opinions. This is the wrap up of your thoughts. “This is what I talked about”
