2. THE OPENING TIMES OF BALDERSTONE LIBRARY FOR STUDENTS: FROM 8:30 IN THE MORNING; AT BREAK TIME; AT LUNCH TIME; AFTER SCHOOL UNTIL 3:45. THE LIBRARY IS OPEN ALL DAY FOR STAFF TO USE WITH THEIR CLASSES.

3. REASONS TO USE YOUR LIBRARY Reading fiction means you can find out about exciting characters, including sports and music legends; There is a wide selection of books available in the library, on all topics from sports texts to comic books; Reading factual texts will improve your understanding of all your subjects; If you find writing, especially spelling, difficult, the best way to learn is to read lots of books. These do not have to be factual books, so you can have fun whilst you are learning; The library has computers that are there for you to use; The library offers a quiet space for you to study in. OPEN FROM 8:30AM TO 3:45 DAILY!

4. BOOK RETURNS PLEASE REMEMBER TO RETURN YOUR BOOKS ON TIME - AS SOMEONE ELSE COULD BE WAITING TO BORROW THEM.

5. Year 7 Library Induction Shortly Year 7 will be receiving a library card and introductory lesson on how to use the library!

6. NEW WRITING AND BOOK REVIEWING CLUB – THE LITERACY GIANTS! Wednesday Lunchtimes (from 1:15pm to 1:45pm) After school on Wednesdays (from 3:15pm to 4:00pm)
