5. 1.WOMEN WERE BARRED FROM SOME JOBS. Many female teachers, doctors, lawyers were fired when Hitler came to power. WOMEN WERE DISCOURAGED FROM UNIVERSITY. 2. WOMEN WERE DISCOURAGED FROM UNIVERSITY. Only 10% of students were women. Nazis felt studying would stop them having a family.
