9  Adult Basic and Literacy Education (ABLE) – programs will build a network of adult education programs focused on helping adults become college ready  Apprenticeships - offered by labor unions and others – previously did not count toward college credit  Adult Workforce Centers – non-college credit – but often credentialed

10  Stackable Certificates – adult learners will build their academic and technical skills by earning a series of pre-college and college-level certificates  Transfer of Military Credits – accept credit received through training and experience In the United States Armed Forces – if approved by the American Council on Education or regional accrediting body  College Credit for Prior Learning

11  Life Long Learning – Mature adults age 55 or older are returning to college for a host of reasons  Upgrading job skills  Learning new trades for second or third career  Take on a part-time position – supplement income  Simply to continue their education  Transfer and Mobility  Ohio Transfer Module  Transfer Assurance Guide  Career Technical Credit Transfer (CT2)  Advance Placement (AP)
