2 Dr Jaki Lilly & Leonie Ramondt Findings: Student Survey 62% (n 57) students had personally encountered problems with teaching and learning situations which were specifically related to their needs as a disabled learner. 50% (n 28) said this was due to failure to supply lecture notes/ other materials in advance. A few dyslexic respondents found that some staff were 'suspicious that the condition did not exist or is not as limiting as put forward.

4 Dr Jaki Lilly & Leonie Ramondt Findings: Staff Survey More than 66% of (n 87) respondents review their curriculum regularly for inclusion, ask students for feedback and know how to respond to inappropriate language and behaviour Awareness of our university and key external resources was very low 87% would like an online resource
