This Design Unit aims to develop in the students the ability to formulate a precise design strategy for the solution of the given architectural problem, maintaining an explicit consistency during the entire design process, from conception to detail. new two-level apartment Step 1 Consider the first-floor five-rooms apartment, and one row of the eight car boxes below it on the ground floor. Step 2 Split in two the first-floor apartment, following the apartment layout and the position of the bearing structure. Join horizontally the two car boxes; join vertically each half-apartment with the two car boxes below it. Step 3 New portion of the building completed.
