5 3 b. Objectives of POTS. 4a. Lokseva Kendra
To Save expenditure on raw material To increase the skill of trainees by giving exposure to work on the deferent jobs. To increase ability and confidence of a trainee for self employment. To purchase new machines and equipments out of the revenue generated. 50% amount of lebour cost to be distributed among staff and trainees concerned as per the provisions of G.R. i.e. EARN AND LEARN 4a. Lokseva Kendra Under this Schemes short term training of different treads given to the trainees from unorginised sector and for school drops outs and rendered different services to the society. Duration of Training : 1 to 3 months. Timing : 2 hrs. daily (After working Hours) Number of trainees trained in : 105 Revenue generated : 32400/-

6 4 b. Lokseva Kendra Sangramsinha Mohite Patil Self Employment
Under Lokseva kendra Institute has established following four co-operative societies of unemployed candidates. A. Ratnai Self Employment Co. Op. Society Ltd. Shankarnagar Reg. No. SUR/MRS/GNS/O/1205/2003 date 23/10/2003. Sangramsinha Mohite Patil Self Employment Co.Op. Society Ltd., Shreepur. Reg No. SUR/MRS/GNS/O/1204/2004 date 23/3/2004. Sahakar Maharshi Self Employment Co. Op. Society Ltd. Khandali. Reg. No. SUR/MRS/GNS/O/1206/2003 dated 20/11/2003 Production of 30 Dust Containers of size 6’ X 4’ X 4’ by self employment societies. Amount worth Rs : 6 lacks.

7 5. National Service Scheme (NSS) 6. Vocational Training as per Demand
Total Volunteers : 50 Nos. For Special Camp : 25 Nos. Special Camp of 10 days was held at Khandali Akluj Various Technical works were done during this camp . Repair of Electrical Appliances, Plumbing, Pump Repair Eye Donation after death Camp, Blood donation camp & Preparation of Roads. 6. Vocational Training as per Demand Under this Scheme free of Cost Training is Given to SC/VJNT Trainees. Trades :- Welding , Wireman, Two wheeler and Four Wheeler Repair, Pump Mach and Plumbing etc. No. of Trainees Trained : 62 Stipend 100/- per month per Trainee is given Free toolkit Worth Rs. 1000/- is Given to Trainees. Two days Entrepreneurship Training is organised for the trainees.

7. Maharashtra State Certificate Course in Information Technology (MS_CIT) Commencement of the scheme : Year- 2001 Total No. of Trainees Trained : 35 Total Tuition Fees Collected till date : Course duration : Months Time : Daily 2 hours. Total Course Duration (in hours) : hours. Facilities available : Through NCA Center CDAC. 8 a. Artisen to Technocrat In unorganized Sector lot of skilled person are Working but they don’t possess certificate of skills. The Skill testing scheme is initially started for Mason, Plumber & Carpenter from this Year. Six skill levels are defined i.e. Artisen, Senior Artisen, Craftsman, Master Craftsman, Technician & Technocrat. Every Year skill test examination conducted three times i.e. first week of JAN,MAY,SEPT, Certification Jointly by Industries Organisation & DVET : Exam fees for level first Rs. 500/- Level Second Rs. 600/ for level third Rs. 700/-.

9 8 b. Artisen to Technocrat
For the SCVT/NCVT pass outs from Mason, Plumber, Carpenter the part time Vocational Diploma Courses are started in following Vocational Diploma in Carpentry & Interior Decoration. Vocational Diploma in Building Construction. Vocational Diploma in Plumbing. (Level five i.e. Vocational Diploma is called as Technician) Fees Rs. 300/- per month Seats : 25 per course Exam Fee : Rs. 1000/-. Duration : Two Years Part time daily 5 pm. to 8.30 pm. Examination : BY MSBTE (MAHARASHTRA STATE BOARD OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION ) Six level will be Vocational degree known as Technocrat. Six Thousand Posters Printed & Distribute all Over Maharashtra to give wide publicity of the scheme of Artisen To Technicrat.

Total No. of Hostels : Total No. of Trainees : Monthly Hostel Rent : Rs. 25/- Library : Total No. of Books : 1134 Major Achievement 1) Under Lokseva Kendra Activity, institute has established four registered self employment Co-op. societies. 2) Result of institute for year is 92% and for year is 90%. 3) Institute has located 156 seats under Apprenticeship training scheme. 4) Under extra curricular activities institute is taking Eye Donation Camp, Blood Donation Camp, Entrepreneurship development programme and National Service Scheme (NSS) etc. every year efficiently.
