2. You are a serf in the middle ages and you are 16 years old your name is Max, you live in a small village with your family and your friends. You want to go and listen to Pope Urban II's speech. So you go to listen to the speech and it is very detailed and convincing, he has convinced you to fight in the crusades but you don't want to leave your family and friends. You have two options to choose from your options are do you go and fight for our country or do you stay with your family and friends? If you go then you could get killed but if you stay then you can live a happy life with your family and friends. Options - Fight in the crusades and leave your familyFight in the crusades and leave your family - Stay with your family and friendsStay with your family and friends

3. You have chosen to stay with your family and friends and leave saving your country behind. You may never get a chance to fight in the crusades ever again. You are happy staying with your family but you also wish that you had gone to fight. But you say to yourself “Family comes first”. So you have your dinner and then go to sleep. You wake up the next morning in a different house and different place. You are very confused. You have a brother and a sister and they are younger than you. The brother is 10 and the sister is 6. You mum calls you down for breakfast. You think to yourself “Am I in a dream or is this real?” Before you go down stairs you say “Someone pinch me” and then your brother comes up to you and pinches you and you say “ouch” it is not a dream. So you go down stairs and eat your breakfast as if it is a normal day. You go outside and you are in England, Pope urban II has moved to England after speaking to the small village. People now have to listen to Pope urban II’s speech. You go to listen to the speech again; it persuades you even more this time. So without asking your mum to fight you go ahead and to it. You see the people that sighed up for the other one; you just realized that you are fighting against them. You have to decide do you switch over to the other team or stay on the team you are one now? Options - Switched over to the other team. (This is your own country)Switched over to the other team. (This is your own country) - Stayed on the team that you are on now. (This is not your own country)Stayed on the team that you are on now. (This is not your own country)

4. You have chosen to go and fight for your country and leave your family behind. You might not be able to see your family ever again but you are doing something for your country. So you pack your things and leave to go and fight. So you go and see who else joined, two of your very good friends joined as well. You are very glad to see them, you say “I didn’t see you at the gathering for the speech” and your friends say “Well we were in the very front”. So they understood each other. You are about to leave the village with everyone and then suddenly you two friends decide to chicken out and you are left there with no one that you know. So do you chicken out with your friends or do you stay and fight. Options - You have left with your friendsYou have left with your friends - You don’t leave with your friends and stay to fight for your country.You don’t leave with your friends and stay to fight for your country.

5. So you have decided to switch back to your own team and fight for your own country. So you have made your last minute decision to switch over. So you tell the people and they allow you because you are meant to fight for your own country. So you go to your team and then you fight and fight for days but eventually you died. Someone has shot you with a bow n’ arrow. You fall dead and hope for the best of you and your family. Sorry but your journey for today ends now. YOU HAVE DIED!!

6. You have decided to stay on your team that you are on now. So you fight against your own team and you are feeling sorry and you are feeling bad that you did not switch teams and are feeling bad stabbing and shooting bow and arrows. So you have decided to hide from everything. You fell asleep and when you woke up the war was finished and you have lived. You are glad that you have lived and find mostly everyone dead; there are a few people alive. You find out that you have won the war. You are injured quite badly but you are well enough to live. So you have lived and that is the happy ending of you journey. YOU HAVE LIVED!!!

7. friends. You return home, you are happy and sad that you have left the battle with your friends. But when you are at home you realize that your family is very sick, the Black Death has come to your village and you are the only one who can stop this disease. Everyone is asking for your help. They want you to go and find someone that can help cure this disease. So you set off and search the town everyone is sick and can’t help you save your family. So you eventually find a person that can help. It is this girl who is also 16 and she did not get infected because she has plastic bags all over her she is protected by them. She gives you a bunch of plastic bags so that you would not get infected. So she said “Do you want to come with me to flee the city?” and you say “well I have a family that needs help” Options -Flee the CityFlee the City -Help your FamilyHelp your Family

8. You have decided to stay and fight and not back out with your friends. So you train for a while and then you go and fight. When you are fighting your thinking about your family and you keep saying to yourself “What if I die?” over and over again in your head. So you go and fight and you are just barley living and then someone comes behind your back and stabs you. You are dead. This journey ends for you today. YOU HAVE DIED!!

9. You have decided to flee the city and you go on a new adventure with your new friend and you get to see the outside world that you have never seen before. You are now in this new world and you are very happy but sad that you have left your loved ones back home to die but at least you are safe. So you are going out and you live. You did not get the Black Death disease. You wish that you did not go and flee the city but you saved yourself with is good. So you lived a happy life after that. YOU HAVE LIVED!!

10. You have decided to go back and help your family to try and survive. But the disease has spread to the whole entire village and now has spread to you. You have waited for a few days and in that few days you have helped your family to try survive but within a couple of days you and your family have died. Sorry but your journey for today ends now. Good luck next time!!! YOU HAVE DIED!!
