10 Study routes for research degrees Full Time (PhD and MD(Res)) Expectation: >80% of working week on studies over 3 years Up to one day permitted for other activities with approval Part Time (PhD and MD(Res)) Expectation: 50% of time (minimum of 16 hours per week) on average over period of study >50% effort (<80%) permits early submission (planned - treated as FT for monitoring, upgrade, supervision, etc) MD (Res) (FT and PT) 10 Supervisor's Training Course – September 2011
