SUBJECT: URDU 3248 CLASS: X DURATION: 55 minutes per period. PERIOD: 03 PERIODS PER WEEK. By Jamil Zaidi

3 Long-term goals Adopt 21st century teaching approaches to enhance student’s appreciation of scientific facts. Understanding, managing, and creating effective oral, written and multimedia communication in a variety of forms and contexts. Analyzing, accessing, managing, integrating, evaluating and creating information in a variety of forms and media. Demonstrating teamwork and leadership, working productively with others. Ability to frame, analyze and solve problems.

After this lesson, students will be able to understand The importance of media and its effects on society as REPORT WRITING is our sub title of this lesson plan. Students will be able to write facts and figures impartially and honestly. Students will be able to understand print media n electronic media’s vast opportunity in employment

6 To remember….. Describe important points of any event or accident in easy and understanding language Perfectly inelastic demand. Avoid irrelevant details and repetition. Importance of word limit n time limit. Events or accidents must have taken place recently. Reading of newspapers or watching news channels is essential.

students will be able : To make intelligent report as a report writer To understand reader/viewer’s demand and interests. How media works

9 To apply….. the sound understanding of elementary economic theory in daily life The knowledge of simple data, graphs and diagrams The basic aptitude about extracting most authentic/ reliable information from heaps of data/ information around them. the principles of economics with the ever changing environment of the world outside the class rooms

10 To analyze….. the principle of report writing and analyse good reporting. In report writing achievements comes from hard work ,practice and individual efforts. Good reporter always has honest and impartial behaviour. Talent of making or writing good report may be groomed.

12 METHODOLOGY: Teaching method: Lecture demonstration method will be used Through multimedia presentation and class lecture.

13 Instructional strategies and tasks
I will use illustrations for their better understanding. I will use worksheets for the related topics. Students are well aware about importance of report writing and media’s effect. To assess and recall these concepts a short worksheet/Question regarding report writing will be discussed/asked in class.

Q # 1.Define report writing. Q # 2. what is the importance of impartial reporting? Q # 3. why do all students have different style of reporting? After asking short question regarding previous topic teacher will link it with a new topic and announce the topic in class.

What is report writing? Why continues exercise is a must? What is the world limit for o’levels urdu report writing? Name some renowned news paper,channels and reporters.

1.Write a report on environmental pollution. 2.lack of discipline causes violence, write a report. 3.Make an assignment on Urdu news papers, news channels and famous reporters, write about their work and achievements.

Project based learning is a student cantered , instructional model. Project-based approaches engage students in deeper content area knowledge and develop 21st century skills such as collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
