4 Fall 2014 Data Collection  Data collection window is currently open Oct 1 thru Nov 14  You must update or confirm your data prior to Nov 14 in order to eligible to participate in TRIG  Training webinar available on Resources page on mtrax.org

5 Fall 2014 Data Collection  Submitting or confirming your data After any updates at the building or district level, save your data in the Data Editor After your submission (or after you have confirmed your data), click the Finalize Submission button on the District Data Editor

6 New Requirements  New Network Readiness Scoring TSM caching server available from DRC - OPTIONAL Stores assessment content locally in district to reduce bandwidth requirement and increase performance Network metrics: With TSM – 20 kbps / student Without TSM – 80 kbps / student

7 New Requirements  New Network Readiness Scoring MTRAx will be reporting network readiness scores for both metrics Dual network readiness scoring to be reported at all levels: Building District ISD State

9 New Requirements  MDE Testing Specifications Test Sittings per Student = 4 Test Sessions per Day = 2 Testing Window Grades 3-8 = 15 Days Grade 11 = 40 Days Testing windows to be deployed in coming weeks These items will not be user configurable in MTRAx

10 New Requirements  DRC Supported Operating Systems All minimum hardware and software requirements are available on the Resources page on mtrax.org Supported: Mac OSX 10.6.8 or greater iOS 7.1 or greater More granular than was previously identified in MTRAx Mac OSX 10.6 iOS 7

11 New Requirements  DRC Supported Operating Systems If you have devices in MTRAx with either of these operating systems, update device data prior to Nov 14 deadline Any devices that have not been edited by Nov 14 will be subject to systematic clean-up The assumption will be that they are NOT compliant

13 Instructional Measures  Identify the readiness of teachers and students for online testing  Workgroup formed to define requirements with participation from: ISD staff LEA staff MDE  Draft requirements completed, seeking feedback from the field to finalize at TRIG Mini-conferences

14 Instructional Measures  Defined metrics for student and staff readiness Students: Technical competencies by grade band K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12 Teachers: Technical competencies Instructional practices

15 Instructional Measures  Data Collection & Reporting Exploring the use of the ASSIST platform for data collection Teachers to complete student survey based on their observation of competencies Teachers to self-complete teacher survey Reporting only at the building level, with drill down by competency

16 Technology Planning  Define new technology planning process  Workgroup formed to define requirements with participation from: ISD staff LEA staff MDE  Draft requirements completed, seeking feedback from the field to finalize at TRIG Mini-conferences

17 Technology Planning  Align process to School Improvement  Transition from an activity to build a tech plan document to a meaningful, on-going technology planning process  Process to support all technology related goals within a district
