11.  King Uther Pendragon is dead.  There is no heir. The next king will be determined by whomever can pull the sword out of the stone.  Kay hears about this. He wants to go to London for the jousting tournament and to try to pull the sword out of the stone.  The Wart (Arthur) is going along as Kay’s squire (his servant).
