2 Wisdom is gained by Listening
“Listen to counsel and receive instruction, That you may be wise in your latter days.” (Proverbs 19:20)

3 Tuning in is often more important than broadcasting.
“Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent.” (Proverbs 17:28) “...let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak…” (James 1:19)

4 Tuning in is often more important than broadcasting.
His words were slow. His words were few Himself he’d hardly mention But he was a joy to all his friends You should have heard him listen!

5 Listening enables us to Worship God Acceptably
“Guard your steps when you go to the house of God. To draw near to listen is better than to offer the sacrifice of fools, for they do not know that they are doing evil.” (Ecclesiastes 5:1, ESV)

6 Hebrews 1:2 informs us that God “has spoken to us by His Son
Hebrews 1:2 informs us that God “has spoken to us by His Son.” Let us listen! "This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased; listen to Him!“ Matthew 17:5 (ESV)
