Low-Wage Part-Time Workers are Less Likely to be Covered by Employer-Sponsored Health Insurance. Possible Reasons Why? Tax benefits are less. Premiums as a proportion of total compensation are more. Minimum wage law prevents cash wages from adjusting downward.
