7 The roles and responsibilities within my workplace Example 1 Josh works as a Trainee Apprentice in a top Chelsea based salon, his role is to assist the salon Stylists & Colour Specialists and to participate in training activities in the salon by booking in models weekly under the instructions of the Senior Stylist or Trainer. Josh is responsible for keeping the salon floor tidy and he follows instructions from all team members while assisting with the clients. 3

8 The roles and responsibilities within my workplace Example 2 Joanne is a Colour Technician who has recently qualified in Hairdressing - Level 3 Joannes role is to provide colour services to clients; she takes over clientele from the Cutting & Styling department of the salon. Joanne is responsible for maintaining a loyal clientele; it is important that the colour department has a full column of clients booked in for colour so Joanne is usually very busy 3
