2 Course Objectives: 22-Oct-15 For more information or to register for the course email rose.reith@umassmed.edu or call 508-856- 1045 http://www.centerforadoptionresearch.org To help students develop clinical skills needed to care for members of adoption and foster care triads To introduce awareness of biological, psychological, and social issues related to adoption and foster care To provide medical students an opportunity to consider their own attitudes about adoption and foster care To introduce medical students to the range of community resources available for patient education and referral

3 Requirements for Credit  Participation in class discussion  Attend at least 7 sessions  Weekly 1-2 page paper reflecting on the relationship between the course and your clinical learning experience.
