1. The Love Of God Through John 5

2. Jhn 5:42Jhn 5:42 But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in you. First where is Jesus and who is he talking to? Jhn 5:1Jhn 5:1 After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

3. Jhn 5:10 Jhn 5:10 The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, "It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed." Jhn 5:16Jhn 5:16 For this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill Him, because He had done these things on the Sabbath. Jhn 5:17Jhn 5:17 But Jesus answered them, "My Father has been working until now, and I have been working."

4. Why do they not have the love of God in them? Jhn 5:38Jhn 5:38 But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe. Jhn 5:40 But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.Jhn 5:40 Jhn 5:43 I have come in My Father's name, and you do not receive Me;Jhn 5:43

5. Ultimately it is because they do not believe but in order for them to believe they have to believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son Of God. The love gift God sent! They do not honor Jesus as the one true Messiah the Son of God. Remember John? Jhn 1:1Jhn 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jhn 1:2 He was in the beginning with God. Jhn 1:2

6. Jhn 1:3Jhn 1:3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. Jhn 1:4Jhn 1:4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. Jhn 1:11Jhn 1:11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. Jhn 5:17Jhn 5:17 But Jesus answered them, "My Father has been working until now, and I have been working."

7. Jhn 5:18Jhn 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God. Note what they have to realize about Jesus 1. Jhn 5:19 the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.Jhn 5:19

8. 2. Jhn 5:20 For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does;… Jhn 5:20 3. Jhn 5:21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to [them], even so the Son gives life to whom He will. Jhn 5:21 4. Jhn 5:22 For the Father…has committed all judgment to the Son, Jhn 5:22

9. 5. Jhn 5:23 that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.Jhn 5:23 6. Jhn 5:26 For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself,Jhn 5:26 7. Jhn 5:27 and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. Jhn 5:27

10. 8. Jhn 5:43 I have come in My Father's name, and you do not receive Me;Jhn 5:43 9. Jhn 5:44 How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that [comes] from the only God?Jhn 5:44 Once again people do not have a sin problem but a Son problem

11. Jhn 5:46Jhn 5:46 For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. Jhn 5:47Jhn 5:47 But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?" Jhn 5:24Jhn 5:24 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

12. Jhn 11:25Jhn 11:25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. Jhn 11:26Jhn 11:26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?“ What do you believe? Do you have the love of God in you?
