1. January 2012 Updates: Alma Turns 17 Months Old!

2. Our gorgeous toddler has been growing rapidly, and soon we’ll need to take out the next size of clothes!

3. Alma loves being independent: Peeling her bananas for breakfast (note her sister is still in bed...), Putting her clothes in the laundry basket, carrying the PJs to the bathroom, And wearing my shoes... All by herself!

4. Alma has been very interested in learning how to buckle She tried to arrange the Matrioshka dolls a few times but couldn’t figure out the idea of the sizes fitting in each other and got frustrated.

5. Big Sister taught Alma how to climb on her cot – from the outside

6. Alma has been very interested in mark making on paper and can draw a line or dot on demand and point at them on a drawing.

7. Stamping and stickers were favourites this month

8. Alma has begun her career as a tattoos artist early...

9. I bought Alma her first colouring book, about cars and machines. She doesn’t want to draw in it but likes to point at the pictures and make the noises.

10. Alma and Hahgoot enjoyed a lovely visit from Maria and Alana. We had a tasty Morning Tea together.

11. The girls had a good time bouncing together on the bed and posing for the camera.

13. Then Alana changed her clothes and we went out for some fun in the sand in the backyard

14. Hahgoot enjoyed her role as big sister and blew bubbles for the babies
