After you finish, assemble a mini lap book or you Homeless Bird chapter notes. You will need to have 3 sheets of loose note book paper, scissors, and glue.

10 THE SETTING THE SETTING IS THE TIME AND LOCATION IN WHICH A STORY TAKES PLACE. WHEN AND WHERE? FOR SOME STORIES, THE SETTING IS VERY IMPORTANT WHILE OTHERS IT IS NOT SO IMPORTANT.

17 WE DO: STATIONS COUNTING OFF BY 4, YOU WILL BE GROUPED AND TRAVEL TO EACH OF THE 4 STATIONS. YOU WILL HAVE ONLY 12 MINUTES PER STATION SO USE YOUR TIME WISELY. EACH GROUP WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR RECORDING YOUR WORK AT EACH STATION ON ONE- TWO SHEETS OF PAPER. THIS WILL BE DUE AT THE CLOSE OF THE ACTIVITY. NOISE LEVEL IS TO BE KEPT AT A MINIMUM. OFF TASK BEHAVIOR WILL RESULT IN RETURNING TO SEAT AND NO CLASSWORK GRADE WILL BE GIVEN.
