5 5. COPC Action Items Additional ODAA Participants COPC Action Item 2011-2.1: Identify participants to work with the JAG/ODAA (when necessary) from the Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS) and from the operational space weather community. Dennis Hobson will coordinate getting AFWA space weather assistance when needed. Rodney Viereck will be the SWPC rep for the JAG/ODAA. Charles Alexander will be the IOOS Subject-Matter Expert (SME) rep on JAG/ODAA. Recommendation: Close this action.

6 6. COPC Action Items DRO and Mark IVB COPC Action Item 2011-2.6: ODAA should investigate the possible solutions for sharing products from Air Force direct readout satellite terminals (Mark IV-B) in real-time Simple (RT Simple) format. Try to determine if there are any quick actions that could help the centers and scope out the best return on investment solution. Proposed quick action to transmit RT-Simple data direct from Mark IVB sites to multiple users is not an efficient/feasible solution, primarily from a communications perspective. Recommend user requirements for imagery from Mark IVBs be submitted via existing SDPER process to AFWA for consideration. Recommendation: Close this action.

7 7. COPC Action Items GOES Experimental Hourly Winds Product COPC Action Item 2011-1.3: Review and provide preferred priority of work associated with ESPC thaw with particular attention to the GOES experimental hourly winds. Feature track wind product being staged on a STAR server (SPSRB) Process Improvement Working Group (SPIWG) decided to transition this product operational to operations. NESDIS Satellite Products and Services Review Board (SPSRB) Process Improvement Working Group (SPIWG) decided to transition this product operational to operations. System scheduled to begin running in development in Satellite Products and Services Division (SPSD) and will make available on ESPC FTP server in April Plan to make the product operational in June-July 2012 Plan to discontinue 3-hour Winds once Hourly Winds are made operational Product will also be distributed via the GTS FNMOC is continuing to use the data on a operational basis Recommendation: Keep the action open.
