Background By the end of March 2006 in Vietnam, there had been 106,288 cases HIV infection detected, 17,829 cases had progressed to AIDS, and 10,378 people had died (Vietnam Ministry of Health/ UNAID). 5. Background The concerns of TU have always included the major social issues of the times; Trade Union now have to pay attention looking for Actions against HIV/AIDS in the workplace. And why we don't use our TU role is protection, education and information?
