3 e-commissioning Click ‘To Do List’ for proposals you are working on. If you are required by RTE to do anything it will appear here Click ‘Blank Forms’, this will take you to the ‘Log A Proposal’ screen Click ‘Admin Forms’ to track the status of proposals you have submitted to RTÉ Your ‘To Do List’

5 e-commissioning The 3 stages are 1. Completing the proposal form 2. Saving or amending your proposal 3. Submitting your proposal Mandatory fields are outlined in RED Select genre AND programme category here OR if you are responding to a specific tender, select here Enter title here Input a short snappy summary here The Project Outline is where you can explain your full programme proposal (1 page A4 max) Specific timing or events eg Christmas, Ryder Cup 2006 Please complete as far as possible Completing proposals - Stage 1

6 e-commissioning Episodes and duration must be entered here If a Series has already been commissioned previously please indicate what number is proposed here Enter total budget, RTE contribution and other funding here Where the proposal exceeds the advertised amount explain here Please tick if suitable for BCI (note link to BCI website Please include title, reference and genre when sending in material You must tick this box Print draft for your records N.B. 7 e-commissioning Click ‘To Do List’ to work on your proposal Highlight and select the Proposal So far you have input and saved your proposal. Now you must submit it to RTE, after checking it of course! Proposal logged, but not yet submitted Stage 2: Saving or amending your proposal

8 e-commissioning The options appear at the bottom of the screen Select ‘Amend’ to work on it further You are offered 3 options at this stage 1. Print 2. Amend 3. Submit Submit when you are happy to forward to RTE Stage 2: Saving or amending your proposal (continued)

10 e-commissioning This section gathers additional information required for drama submissions Provide details of channel and target audience for the submission Outline and premise Distinctiveness for target audience Describe and attach the supporting materials available (please do not attach scripts at this stage) Stage 2: Drama: additional requirements continued

11 e-commissioning Insert a detailed proposal outline here as described. You may cut and paste from another document, but please note that certain formatting may not copy fully. In order to insert attachments Click on the relevant attachment symbol, browse to your file, highlight and select ‘Upload’ Resumé 1 has now been attached as shown NB Don’t forget to Save and Close!
