8 What to do to get started: Have Steven Wicker install Director and Flash on your laptop. It’s a keyed version that requires that you be on the network to access a license key. To contact Steven Wicker: Office: Manchester 130 Extension: 4693 Email: wickersg@wfu.edu wickersg@wfu.edu Steven is the Digital Media Lab Systems Manager, so contact him if you have programs in the lab.

9 What to do to get started: Go to the Digital Media Lab and make sure that you can log into the Sound Workstation (the one to the right of the door). Use your regular campus username and password, and make sure you’re logging into Deacnet. If you can’t log in, contact Steven Wicker. If you can log in, familiarize yourself with the software on the computer.

10 What to do to get started: Begin reading Chapter 4, about Digital Audio. (You can access it online.)
