Definition of Music Therapy Music therapy is a clinical and research-based creative process to accomplish individualized goals in the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual self in areas such as; independence, freedom to change, adaptability, balance and integration; within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program.
