2 COURSE DESCRIPTION Forensic science is the application of scientific disciplines to law. You will finally apply the science you have been learning over the last several years in a unique and enjoyable way. Forensic science is the application of scientific disciplines to law. Aspects of chemistry, physics, biology and physiology, to name a few, will be included in the course. As an applied science, this course will be lab-based. The projects you do in lab and the assignments given will constitute the major part of your grade. 7 Due dates for assignments: Responsibility is key in this class. You must hand in all assignments when they are due. Assignments will be accepted and graded until the assignment is returned to the class. At that point the assignment is considered incomplete and will receive a mark of 0 when it is handed in. If you are sick for an extended period of time, you must meet with your teacher the day you get back to schedule times for new due dates. Generally speaking, you are allowed 24 hours for every day you are absent to make up a quiz or test.
