5. Along with their parents, Elyse Rose Griffith and Justin Clint Koon invite you to attend their wedding on Saturday, the seventh of August, two thousand and ten, at four o’clock in the afternoon, at First Baptist Church, Sheridan. A reception will follow at the Sheridan Golf Club.

6. WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY theme this week is “Yertle the Turtle (Tower of Babel from Genesis 11:1-9) from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. in the Park. All kids, Kindergarten thru 5th grade are invited to come!

7. WEDNESDAY NIGHT REFUGE Join us this Wednesday at 6:30 for an awesome Refuge with worship, teaching and a fun game. Invite your friends!

8. Special Conference Special Conference We will vote on the new Committee on Committees and the Nominating Committee in a special conference this Wednesday night at 6:30. They will immediately begin their work on securing teachers and committee members, which we hope to have in place by the first Sunday in September. Prayerfully consider where you would like to serve.

9. DEACONS MEETING will be next Sunday at noon in Fellowship Hall. Deacons of the Month for August are Doug West and Charles Jones, with Chuck Tripp as alternate.

10. BACK TO SCHOOL GIVEAWAY The Women’s Ministry is collecting school supplies and clothing to be given away on Saturday, August 14. A list of supplies is available on the Women’s Ministry table in the north foyer. Drop off your supplies & clothing in bins around church or at the church office by August 10.

11. GAME DAY Thursday of this week we will have Game Day in Fellowship Hall from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Bring a sack lunch (or takeout) and come enjoy board games. Invite someone to come with you!
