2 What is a Valid Resource?  What do you know?

3 What is a Valid Resource There are six easy ways to help tell if a website is credible: - Author : Is the author’s name on the website? Does she/he stand behind their information? - Date : When was this information published? Is it still relevant? - Sources : Where did this information come from? Everyone has to do their research

4 What is a Valid Resource - Domain : What is the URL? Is it a blog? Does it end with.com,.org,.edu? Only educational sites (like universities) get an.edu domain. - Site Design : Ever gone to a site and had it look like this ? Design can be subjective, but if a site doesn’t look professional, then maybe the information isn’t either this - Writing Style : hey! what’s up? did you know that camels run faster backwards?! It’s true! I saw it on buzzfeed!
